The guidebook is designed to be like a book of shadows, written by a witch sometime in the past. The intention is to have the reader read the guidebook like they would read a journal found in a vintage store or in the attic of an old Victorian house. This journal details the witch's triumphs and struggles as she learns to be her most authentic self. Throughout the book, there will be various exercises, spells, and general witchcraft information she's collected and documented.

Using your Witching Hour Oracle cards

The only right way to read these cards is the one that feels most aligned for you. However, traditionally a card spread is used. This is a series of related questions laid out in a specific order. I have included examples of spreads that highlight the energy of this deck, but you can use any spread that you feel will best answer your question.

First, take a few moments to settle your energy by closing your eyes and taking a few deep breaths. Once you feel calm and centered, shuffle the cards while asking your question. Select the card that feels right then lay out the card according to the spread you are using. (Otherwise, simply lay out the cards as you prefer.) Sometimes a card will fall out of the deck. If this happens, trust that this card is meant for you.
