Mind Blown!!!

Mind Blown essential oil blend is for those debilitating headaches that come out of nowhere!!! I know I used to get awful migraines before my daith piercing and I would have to hide in my bedroom for the night. Since my daith piercing, I haven't gotten any migraines, but I still get headaches due to sinus pressure and stress. I created this blend to naturally get rid of my headaches.

Mind Blown is made with Organic Essential Oils: peppermint, lavender, helichyrsum, eucalyptus, clove, chamomile, wintergreen and diluted with Organic fractionated coconut oil

APPLICATION: Apply to bilateral temples, bottom of feet and toes, and back of neck when you feel a headache coming on. To prevent headaches from coming on, apply to soles of feet and toes daily.

Peppermint: Peppermint is one of the most ubiquitous and the best essential oil for a headache. The soothing, cooling menthol sensation makes this an obvious and one of the best essential oils for treating headaches. It leaves the skin feeling cool and tingly for a little extra pick-me-up.

Lavender: Some migraines in females are caused my hormonal changes when it’s that time of the month. The lavender essential oil is especially beneficial for this as it can also ease the pain of menstrual cramps. This double-purpose benefit makes it one of the best essential oils for headaches, especially for women.

Eucalyptus: If you’re wondering which essential oil is best for headaches caused by sinus-related issues, hands down, I would say it’s the eucalyptus essential oil. The eucalyptus is great for treating clogged sinuses and airways. Its scent alone is therapy enough, helping to reduce pain and promote relaxation.

Helichrysum: Anatural medicinal plant that’s used to make a beneficial essential oil that boasts many different full-body benefits due to its anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. Research also indicates that helichrysum oil decreases muscle pain by lowering swelling, inflammation and improving circulation. This helps support the healing of nerves, joints and muscle tissue — making it an effective natural treatment for pain-related symptoms of arthritis, fibromyalgia and exercise-related injuries.

Clove: Clove: Clove essential oil is high in antioxidants and has potent anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, antiviral and antifungal properties, making it effective for a large variety of common health concerns including toothaches headaches. One of the traditional clove oil uses has been for the treatment of common complaints related to the digestive system, including indigestion, motion sickness, bloating and flatulence

Roman Chamomile: A study in human volunteers demonstrated that chamomile flavonoids and essential oils penetrate below the surface into deeper skin layers. This is important for their use as topical anti-inflammatory agents that can effectively treat headaches.

Wintergreen: Ever try a pain-relieving muscle rub that smelled like menthol or mint? Chances are the product included peppermint or wintergreen oils because both are considered “counterirritants.” Wintergreen oil works to reduce swelling and irritation that occurs around painful muscle, tissue and joints.

Headaches and migraines can strike anyone at any time, and often quite without warning. There is not one cause for migraines and headaches. It could be anything from hormonal changes, diet and certain food additives, stress and physical exertion, genetics, or as simple as lack of sleep. While there are many over-the-counter and prescription drugs to choose from, there’s also a several non-drug options. This includes meditation, getting enough sleep and rest, and topical treatments. Essential oils are particularly good as a topical treatment and are generally safe to use because it won’t give the lining of your stomach or your poor old liver a beating the way the really potent medications do.

A word of caution, if you find that nothing helps ease the pain of your headaches or migraines, or if it is accompanied by other conditions, it’s always best to see a doctor. You could be experiencing symptoms of a totally different condition, which can result in a slew of complications if it goes undiagnosed or misdiagnosed. If that’s not the case, and it’s just a garden variety headache or migraine, you’ll find that any of these essential oils will offer a measure of relief.
