The Green Man is a pre–Christian symbol found carved into the wood and stone of pagan temples and graves, of medieval churches and cathedrals, and used as a Victorian architectural motif, across an area stretching from Ireland in the west to Russia in the east. Although commonly perceived as an ancient Celtic symbol, in fact its origins and original meaning are shrouded in mystery. The name dates back only to 1939, when folklorist Lady Raglan drew a connection between the foliate faces in English churches and the Green Man (or "Jack of the Green") tales of folklore.
The evocative name has been widely adopted, but the legitimacy of the connection still remains controversial, with little real evidence to settle the question one way or the other. Earliest known examples of the foliate head (as it was known prior to Lady Raglan) date back to classical Rome — yet it was not until this pagan symbol was adopted by the Christian church that the form fully developed and proliferated across Europe. Most folklorists conjecture that the foliate head symbolized mythic rebirth and regeneration, and thus became linked to Christian iconography of resurrection. (The Tree of Life, a virtually universal symbol of life, death and regeneration, was adapted to Christian symbolism in a similar manner.)
Magicians, wizards, witches, sorcerers, and fairies all know that to give their magical powers a boost, they need a magic wand. These thin, hand-held devices were said to be the source of magic or, at the very least, served as a distraction away from a sleight-of-hand.

from 1040 reviewsLove these. The flavors are great and I have to admit I wasn’t sure if they were working for me till I ran out and I was waiting for my order to get here. They definitely work and don’t leave you feeling anything but calm and collected.
Have only used a tip of it but will also give some away! Thanks
Love this little set. Perfect for using while meditating and traveling.
I deal with a lot of chronic pain and this product helps give me some ease. I absolutely love it
Well, it’s well-known that older skin and doggy paws don’t play nice together. My left arm got scratched pretty bad and several wanted to go haven’t checked. Instead, I trusted Hey Boo which I’m grateful for. I use it for just about any injury now bite or open skin and it has been fantastic.
When the Charka was made available, I took time to review and make the initial choices. I opted for Heart, Root and Third Eye. It was one of my best decisions. I feel more confident and grounded in my own world for once. The negative energy around me is not penetrating and I am feeling stronger in what my own needs are. Strange that I can finally be calm and strong enough to know what my own needs are.
I have been using a lip balm that Angel sold, and the company went out of business. I was milking my last stick. I had them all over the place. #lipbalmaddict. I bought this this past weekend am in love. Even better than the other one I have used for years. Super soft, glides on easily, last for a long time, great sent and my lips are super moist. 💕
Love that it doesn’t taste weird in my drink! It’s a great addition to the super line, love taking it daily.
Absolutely love this, perfect for ingrown hairs!
beautiful quality smoky quartz
I've never used a magnesium spray before, I will not be without it now. Not scented helps me sleep and calms me
One of my favorite stones on my alter.
