Step 5 | Snuff, Don’t Blow 🌙
When you’re ready to complete your ritual, gently extinguish the flame using a candle snuffer.
In many witchcraft traditions, snuffing a ritual candle instead of blowing it out is believed to preserve the symbolic energy of your intentions until you’re ready to continue your working.
Allow the candle to cool completely before handling or relighting.

🔥 REMOVE ALL EMBELLISHMENTS BEFORE LIGHTING! Crystals, dried flowers, herbs, glitter, and any other decorative materials must be completely removed from the candle and wax surface before burning. These materials are decorative only and can create serious fire hazards.
🔥 NEVER leave a burning candle unattended. Always extinguish your candle before leaving the room or going to sleep.
🔥 Keep away from children and pets. Hot wax, open flames, and heated glass can cause burns.
🔥 Keep away from flammable objects. Curtains, bedding, paper, clothing, decorations, and other combustible materials must remain safely away from the flame.
🔥 Trim wicks to approximately ¼ inch before every use. Properly trimmed wicks help maintain a controlled flame and reduce excessive smoking and soot.
🔥 Never burn for longer than 4 hours at a time. Allow the wax and container to cool completely before relighting.
🔥 Place on a stable, level, heat-resistant surface. Never burn directly on furniture or heat-sensitive materials.
🔥 Keep the wax pool free of debris. Never allow wick trimmings, matches, crystals, botanicals, or other materials to accumulate in melted wax.
🔥 Avoid drafts and air currents. Keep away from fans, vents, and open windows that may cause excessive flickering or uneven burning.
🔥 Never move or touch a burning candle. The glass container and melted wax can become extremely hot.
🔥 Stop burning when approximately ½ inch of wax remains. Continuing to burn a nearly empty candle may cause the container to overheat.
